When the UK’s leading educational management specialist needed to develop a new product, HCSS turned to Life IT to provide innovative thinking
along with the necessary expert design and build skills to help them meet the tight deadline.
Covering these topics in a series of technical design workshops with HCSS staff,
Life IT drew up the design specification. As part of this phase they also implemented
the technical environment required to deliver the system, giving HCSS a strong
platform for the construction phase of the project.
Finally Life IT took responsibility for the SQL Server elements of the Build phase
installing the infrastructure and, working closely as a joint team, they assisted HCSS
with the development of the new web-based application. Life IT was specifically
responsible for the development and unit testing of the SQL Server stored
procedures, along with providing expertise to support the HCSS test team during
the system testing phase of the project.
